Upload 4/0, 4/1 or 4/4 Business Card Files:
4/0 is full color front side with no printing on the back. 4/1 is full color front side with grayscale printing on the backside. 4/4 is full color on both sides of the card.
Business Card File Specifications:
- Required Business Card Size (Includes Bleed): 1125 x 675 Pixels or 3.75 x 2.25 Inches
- Minimum Required Resolution: 300 ppi / dpi
- Actual finished business card size is 3.5 x 2 inches. The file is required to have an 1/8" bleed on all sides which makes the submitted size to be 3.75" x 2.25".
- Required File Formats: JPEG/JPG, TIFF, PSD, PDF, or EPS file types. EPS files must have the fonts outlined or included within a zip/stuffit file. Quark Xpress and Pagemaker files must have all graphics and fonts along with the original file included within a Zip/Stuffit file. The files may be compressed using WinZip, WinRAR or StuffIt Expander.
- The files must be saved in CMYK mode. If your image is not in CMYK mode your colors may be changed.
- All card files must be submitted at this measurement regardless of whether the background is full bleed / color or not.
- When you are designing you need to allow an additional 1/16" to 1/8" from the trim border for text. Text can not go all the way to the trim lines and always be guaranteed to not be cut off slightly during the trimming process.
- Uploads for 4/1 and 4/4 business cards will require 2 separate files. One file for the front of the card and one for the back.
Business Card Details
Business cards measure the standard size of 3.5 x 2 inches (88.9 x 50.8 mm). Cards are litho printed on 12pt cardstock with a glossy uv coating on the frontside. Turnaround time is about 7-10 "business days" before shipping.
