Business Cards: Upload Files For Printing

This product is intended for graphic artists and clients who want business cards printed from their existing print ready files. For those with limited graphic design and commercial printing knowledge do not worry as our graphic designers can take your non-conforming files and materials and create print ready files for an additional $20. Our pricing is the same for 4/0 , 4/1 and 4/4 formats. Not sure what that means? 4/0 is full color front side with no printing on the back. 4/1 is full color front side with grayscale / black & white printing on the backside. 4/4 is full color both sides of the card.

Minimum Required Resolution: 300 ppi / dpi
Color Mode: CMYK - if your image is not in CMYK mode the colors may be changed when converted. Do not use RBG when designing for print.
Required File Size (Includes Bleed): 1125 x 675 pixels or 3.75 x 2.25 inches. Files must be submitted at this measurement regardless of whether the background is full bleed / color or not.
Required File Formats: JPEG/JPG, TIFF, PSD, PDF. The files may be compressed using WinZip, WinRAR or StuffIt Expander. Please flatten all layers before uploading files. Please do not make the mistake of flattening and saving your working file - simply flatten and save a copy - "Save As".

Uploads for 2 sided business cards will require 2 separate files. One file for the front of the card and one for the back. Actual cut size of a business card is 3.5" x 2" inches; however, file is required to have an 1/8" bleed on all sides which is why the submitted size is 3.75" x 2.25". This bleed zone with be trimmed off during the cutting process. Why do you need it then you ask? Anything you want to bleed off the edge of the card must extend past your guides out to the bleed edge. If photos and backgrounds do not extend past these guides, white may show around the edges when we cut the cards, due to slight movement during the cutting process. When designing keep all text, logos and important information in the safe zone. This allows for nice margins around the card and keeps the important stuff away from the trim zone. The trim zone is for the margin and background images.

After your files are uploaded they will be inspected by a print technician to ensure they are acceptable for printing. We want to ensure your cards come out as nice as possible when printed. If you files are not okay we will work you to get them ready.

Rounded corner business cards are the solution to the "dog ears syndrome" found on heavily used business cards. Rounding off a bit of the corners during the cutting process results in big gains in strength & durability ,as well as, style & flair.

Upon payment and final inspection the files will be prepared for printing at one of our plants in California or Ohio. The actual printing process "typically" takes 4-5 "business days" before the cards are boxed and shipped out. At that time we will email you the UPS tracking number. At this point you can track your cards online at UPS.com using the number we provide you.
